Located near the new bridge on Mactan Island. Small – 48 room – hotel, with clean rooms. Hotel was built in 1998. Internet is only available in the very small – one person at a time – biz centre and is expensive at $48 for 12 hours. Approx. 5 minutes from the airport. Standard rooms (28 sq/mtrs.) $70 The larger room (36sq/mtrs) are priced at $124. Room have had a minor make-over and are now in good shape. There is a small roof-top swimming pool.

The breakfast buffet here is rough and ready. Food is slopped down in the traditional food warmers for all to grab. Better be quick, as it has a price to match…free. The good news is that Marina Mall’s Cafe de France is only a few minutes down the road by car. There you can have excellent breakfasts (think real coffee, croissants, pastries, sausages, bacon, eggs etc.) from only $1.50 – $3.50. Whilst we found Bellavista a bit expensive for what you get, the staff are very friendly. Personally, I would opt for a location where you are near a shops and can easily walk to. Furthermore, I would go for a place with bigger rooms and more economical on the wallet.
