Great location near International Airport and within walking distance to Marina Mall on Mactan Island. 10 mins from beaches. Rooms & Building both badly in need of a revamp/ renovation. 116 rooms in all. We experienced a musky (smoke) smelling rooms (Standard – 28 sq/mtrs) Starting at $70 per night. Day’s largest room is (36 sq/mtrs.) and $105 per night. Very expensive and much smaller size in comparison to nearby SDR SERVICED APARTMENTS (1 minute walk from Days) and other hotels in this category. Especially when you consider what you get and don’t get! Internet is not available in rooms and is only available in the biz center for USD20 per day (12 hours)

Breakfast is $5, Lunch main dish costs between $5 – $10. Dinner $6 – $12 for a main. Food is not great. Suggest that you frequent the nearby Marina Mall for food. There is no pool – one of the few 3 stars without. The gym was out of service at the time of writing. Best to give Day’s Hotel a miss, until they do a major renovations and create more value for guests.
