Cottages on the beach. Located 15 minutes walking distance from Sta. Fe. All cottages gracefully surrounded by swaying palm trees. Restaurant serves Visayan dishes as well as European dishes. They have wifi internet access.

The biggest attraction here is probably Bernard, the resorts semi-friendly Crab eating Macacao monkey.

Standard Room is approx 22 sq/mtrs up to the Suite at 40 sq/mtrs. There is no internet in the room. Nice coffee shop and the location is great if you want to be in the heart of Cebu. Located on Osmenia Boulevard, you are in the bull’s eye of the city. If your appreciate air quality don’t stay here. If your a city dweller and want to be bang, smack in the centre, you found the right location.

The location for business is great. However, those who don’t want lots of traffic and the disruption that breeds within, stay elsewhere. If you wish to experience Cebu city life, you have hit the slot machine’s jackpot and the coins are rolling in. Standard Room 28 sq/mtr; Deluxe Rooms 30 sq/mtrs and Suite Rooms 36 sq/mtrs. No internet in rooms. Close to lots of fast-food restaurants and if you get sick, the hospital is just across the road. Rooms are dated here but some improvements have taken place with some of the facilities such as the coffee shop.

A proudly German run dive resort. Rustic and full of charm. Prices include breakfast and dinner so represent very good value. You are most likely to come here for exceptional diving and we are not using the word loosely. Given the location and what you get, CA gives this place a big thumbs up. FYR, Cabilao is approximately a 2 hour car ride from Mactan-Cebu Airport and then a 1 hour boat ride from Argao. For divers, this place is a must see.

A simple but very efficient resort that offers local style rooms and cottages from backpacker budget; to air-conditioned rooms (28 sq/mtrs), hot water, minibar and satellite TV. All cottages are built from natural materials found on the island and feature large veranda with sea views. No need to worry about the normal power outages found on the island; as they resort has their own back-up generators.

Their sea view bar is a wonderful place to enjoy a beer or your favorite cocktail, whilst watching the sun go down. They bake their own bread daily and most items we tried on the menu were good. No internet. They are an official PADI dive centre and offer reasonable dive packages for guests.

The hotel is 11 years old. Nothing fancy. Standard Room is 28 sq/mtrs and the top of the line Deluxe is 34 sq/mtrs. No Internet in rooms. No swimming pool. They have a good coffee shop come restaurant which serves big portions of US beef for those carnivores in the need of a quick fix. A 200 gram Rib-Eye Steak will cost from $20. The most expensive cut being 450 gram Porterhouse $20.

Always looking for value for money, we cannot really fault Eddies. It is located an iron shot from the more salubrious night spots of Cebu. For the price, most will be happy and the service is very friendly.
