The quietest and most remote place of the island; small resort with only 4 or 5 cottages. They are all fan cooled (no aircon), contain a bed with a mosquito net, a bathroom with a shower + wc and an exterior balcony. The electricity is only working from 6 pm till around 10 pm or so – unless you pay extra. You have a direct acces on a tiny white sand beach, which looks like a private beach. A great spot to see the sunset. What you get is a quiet little paradise on an island with white sand beaches, which reminds many people of Boracay before it got so crowded and exploited. Malapascua is still virgin from that point of view so if you want it authentic go there otherwise better go to Boracay. No disco’s all night here! Quite remote and romantic place. Great view on the small (almost private) beach and sunsets.

With good sized bungalows and lots of space outside to enjoy the island life. There is only has 2 units and the electricity is only from the island’s 6 hour/day supply (1800-2400). It is a very conveniently placed site- right between the main eaing places and the dive resorts; just 2 places up from Bubble07. The view is nothing short of a postcard perfect tropical scene.

A simple but very efficient resort that offers local style rooms and cottages from backpacker budget; to air-conditioned rooms (28 sq/mtrs), hot water, minibar and satellite TV. All cottages are built from natural materials found on the island and feature large veranda with sea views. No need to worry about the normal power outages found on the island; as they resort has their own back-up generators.

Their sea view bar is a wonderful place to enjoy a beer or your favorite cocktail, whilst watching the sun go down. They bake their own bread daily and most items we tried on the menu were good. No internet. They are an official PADI dive centre and offer reasonable dive packages for guests.
